Early Difficultes With New MSN Desktop Search

I had the opportunity to install the new MSN Search Toolbar with Windows Desktop Search earlier today. (Do the folks who make up these titles get paid by the word? I'm just asking.) Sad to say I didn't have much luck.

I walked away from the M200 Tablet PC and let it index, which it seemed to do in fine fashion. After coming back and giving it a try, all seemed to work well until I started doing some internet browsing during lunch. Every time I would try to open a second window or click on a link (as an example, in Typepad clicking on View Site from the Control Panel) I'd get an error announcing IE needed to close.

I'd close down and notice that IE was still resident in memory and delete that through the Task Manager. After a couple of reboots and the same issue remaining, I've uninstalled it for now.

I can't say I can pin point all of this on the program, but all is back to normal after deleting it from my system.

Anyone else seeing anything like this, let me know.
