Scoble Reporting That Google Office Will Be Announced Tomorrow

Scoble is linking to an Internet News item that says Google and Sun will announce Google Office tomorrow.

I read this tonight after experimenting with the Tablet PC TIP on two web collaboration (Web 2.0?) apps Writeboard and Writely. Marc Orchant was testing Writely out a while back and that caught my eye. The TIP works with both apps.

Would I use them now? Too early to tell. The potential is there. Now, if someone comes up with a web based drawing collaboration tool, that could open a market for designers. I could see using that tomorrow with set and costume designers working off site. I hope these folks working on these apps remember the ink possibilites of Tablet PCs.

Is it just me, or is this whole race to conquer the universe getting a bit breathless?
