Credit Where Credit Is Due: Bravo TypePad

You've got to give credit to the good folks at Six Apart for dealing with recent issuses caused largely by the growth of their business. The Typepad Service, which this blog operates on, has had some difficulty of late. Six Apart has been very good about notifiying users and keeping them up to date on their changes to improve service. After another recent spate of problems last week they've come up with a system of crediting users accounts for the inconvenience and problems they may have experienced. This excerpt from an email I received today says it all:

We are all aware that you pay for TypePad and expect to receive superior service and performance in return. At times last month, we did not provide that type of experience to all our customers and apologies are not good enough.

Giving credit where credit is due, the good folks at Six Apart deserve great credit, kudos, pats on the back, and my business, for the way they've handled these issues. Others should take note.
