Pete Wright, His Tenderhook Emotions, And The Motion LE1600 Tablet PC

Pete Wright is a Microsoft Consultant and the author of a number books on Microsoft Technology. He's also into Apple. But at the moment his emotions are on tenderhooks as he awaits the arrival of his new Motion LE1600 Tablet PC. His new Tablet PC will replace his Toshiba M200.

He promises to blog his impressions with his new Motion and I'm looking forward to seeing what he has to say. I really like this quote from his post:

Now, why the sudden re-fascination with tablets? Well, it looks like 2006 is going to be the year Tablet explodes. Analysts are predicting a massive jump in sales thanks to more and more manufacturers adopting the convertible form factor. Also, now that it's possible to pick up a tablet PC in many consumer electronics stores here in the States, more and more people are actually getting their hands on the devices and seeing the benefits they bring. So, now is definately the time to be working on developing next generation software for what is undoubtedly one of the few next generation platforms around today.
