Hugo Ortega: Using A UMPC As A Remote Control Device

Hugo Ortega has come up with a nifty video once again. This time he takes a look at Superna System's home remote control package on a UMPC. He's once again using the UMPC emulator on a Sahara touchscreen Tablet PC for the demo.

"Superna is the brainchild of Arik Vardi (one of the 4 who set up ICQ) and his brother Oded. They’ve put together an exquisite software package that enables the most flexible form of home automation I’ve ever experienced. When coupled with the Superna Controller (hardware that makes the cogs turn) it is an outstanding example of things to come."

I'm betting that the size of the UMPC form factor is going to make this a good market segment once the devices are finally out there, especially if you compare it to the size of the Superna control device displayed in the video.

Now if someone would just get Hugo a UMPC to work with. After they get one to me, of course.
