Loren Heiny Installs The Tablet OS On A Mac

Oh my goodness. Loren Heiny has successfully installed the Tablet OS on a Mac and you can see the result here.

Loren lays out his steps and how he got INKING to work with a Wacom Graphire 3 Tablet for the digitizer and at first he had some difficulty with the ink not being smooth but he solved that as well. Loren used the Boot Camp dual boot method. I’m impressed.

On another note Dennis Rice bemoans that Loren has gone to the dark side. I don’t think so. Convergence is coming and while Loren’s solution is not in any way an ideal Tablet PC experience, it is only a matter of time. Too much money to be made for it not to happen.

Very cool, Loren.
