Tableteers And Bloggers Have Fun With April Fools Day

Poisson2It is tough to be creative and fun on April Fools Day at the same time as preparing to open a new show. Of course the rest of the blogosphere and a few Tableteers had quite a bit of fun. James Kendrick had this funny take on Apple entering the Tablet scape. Scoble and a few of the other big names all switched jobs. Wikipedia has a run-down on the 2006 April Fools gold.(There's some interesting irony there but my brain is too tired to nail it down.) TDavid didn't thnk this year's hoaxes measured up.

Macks uwMy favorite hoax attempt though was Eric Mack's Ultra-Wide Screen Tablet PC. He suckered me with his first tease, but once the pictures were blogged the gig was up. He even has a neat little video of his stunt.

UPDATE: Michael Parekh has published his 1st Annual 2006 April Fools Day On The Web Awards.

Belated Poisson D’Avril.
