Steve Jobs' Brilliant Anti-DRM Ploy

Call me skeptical. You do have to admire Steve Jobs' anti-DRM ploy. It certainly appeals to the masses who'd love to see a DRM free music world. I know I would. But I just don't think the Music Companies will buy it, and I believe Jobs knows that full well. He is the master of the PR game, and I don't doubt that he sees the light (and Apple's possible profits without DRM.)  I also think he's shrewd enough to recognize the realities and that this just positions him very well in the fight ahead. A fight that I doubt anyone could win. The article could better have been titled Thoughts on Control, because it has nothing to do with music.

Sure hope I'm wrong on that one.
