Ted Stevens Is At It Again

Alaska’s Senator Ted Stevens, a recognized authority on the Internet (you remember he described it as a series of tubes) has introduced a bill to ban social networking sites in schools. His bill is drafted so loosely that it would include banning Wikipedia. I guess I can understand that on some level, given all the troubles Wikipedia has with folks manipulating entries and such. It makes it hard to trust the info to a degree. Much like it is hard to trust anything that comes out of an elected official’s mouth.
