When Is (fill in the blank) Not (fill in the blank)

I guess words mean something. Until you let the lawyers and customer service reps get a hold of them. Two stories here that will make you want to scream. (note that the picture from The Consumerist is titled Like Talking to Dell)

You remember that little flap about unlimited not meaning unlimited when it comes to broadband bandwidth don't you? Well, here's another one just like the other one. Seems Amanda Lee not only got her Internet shut off by Comcast (they suck remember) for using too much bandwidth, when she asked them what the limit to unlimited broadband was, they told her there was no limit. She just used too much. Give me a break.

And in this little episode, one Dell rep told a customer he could receive a free Vista upgrade. He didn't realize that he was in for Dell Hell, nor that the word free doesn't mean free. Warning, only read this post if you don't get upset at corporate idiocy. I can't believe the canned responses. They almost seem like a bot responding.
