TypePad Woes

My buddy James Kendrick of jkOnTheRun is blogging this morning about the still silly problem with TypePad and dealing with spam. He's not the only one experiencing it, although I am sure he has more of a volume problem with it than I do. TypePad has been on again/off again on so many issues including just generally being slow.

They've recently introduced a pretty new graphic view of a blog's stats, but I'm finding that it isn't recording accurately compared to other stats systems I use to measure things here. It also just doesn't seem to keep up with the running list of referrals that run directly below it. Probably a BETA. 

I'd love TypePad to spend a little more time on stablity and the nuts and bolts and less on the pretty things. But maybe that's just me.
