Are We Really In The Hunt?

Interesting NY Times article (consider the source for those who need to) on how it looks like the US had bigger political concerns that led to calling off a raid that might have netted senior Al Qaeda members.

I keep wondering why not capturing these guys isn't the burning political question in the presidential follies... er... campaign. I mean face it, anyone making an issue over the war in Iraq is jumping on that bandwagon a bit too late. But where is the candidate who will stand up (from either party) with some guts and say, "Why have we failed to capture Osama?"

I'm waiting. And I guess others are too.
