NY Times Drops Pay Wall, Is the WSJ Next?
As of midnight tonight the New York Times will stop charging for some of its content that has been behind a pay wall for two years. They are also making portions of their archives available as well. Good move. Guess what? They say that the prospect of growth by subscription is less than growth by.... you guessed it online advertising.
Next question? What will come first, the Wall Street Journal following suit, or the Wall Street Journal running pictures of scantily clad women?
