If You Can't Beat Them, Buy Them Out

Looks like Apple decided to throw around some of that cash it has lying around. Think Secret, the Apple fan and rumor site, which had been sued by Apple, decided to settle. As a part of that settlement Think Secret is closing up shop. This is a curious and some say chilling move here. It certainly sets a precedent.

Look for a number of young bloggers trying to cash in by pumping up the rumor volume, and look for a number of legal beagles in corporate offices wondering why they didn't think of this first.
