Hey, I've Got an Idea! Let's Shoot Down that Falling Satellite

Bad enough that a dead spy satellite is falling to Earth with a potential toxic cargo. Now the Pentagon has decided to shoot the thing down before it can crash. Now don't get me wrong, I think being proactive might be a good idea, but I'm not so sure about this particular solution.
