Swiss Sausage Crisis: More Proof The World As We Know It Is Going To End

If the financial crisis wasn't enough. If the war(s) we are fighting weren't enough. If the constant self immolation going on in the Democratic Party wasn't enough. Now we know for sure. The world is coming to an end.

The Swiss have their guts in a knot over a possible shortage of their beloved curled sausages, the cervelat. Actually the problem is brought on by an EU regulation that bars the import of Brazilian cow intestine skins, which when wrapped around the sausage innards cause them to curl nicely when cooked.

This is causing such an uproar that the Swiss parliament is weighing in attempting to prevent cervelats that don't curl.
