Anonymity and Conducting Business

Eric Rice blogs the question Should anonymous people be allowed to conduct business? Here's my $.02.

I see no reason why not, as long as we have a business environment in the real world (or is that the non-Internet world) that allows individuals and businesses to hide behind various legal instruments and so-called protections.

Not that I'm biased or anything, but I are whole-heartedly! I understand there will be complexities that aren't found in average business dealings, but intelligent parties can certainly overcome any obstacles.
