Oh, No! DMCA Takedown Hits Loren Feldman's Puppet Internet

This falls into the realms of the ridiculous, the surreal, and the stupid. Yesterday I posted about the fun stuff Loren Feldman is doing with his puppet versions of Shel Israel's interviews. I find them hilarious. Today, TechCrunch is reporting that Scorpio Music sent Yahoo a DMCA takedown notice because in one of the videos the puppets sing (sorta, kinda) a line from the Village People's YMCA. Yahoo pulled the video. As TechCrunch reports it is still up on YouTube. I wonder for how long?

I'm waiting for Loren and his puppets to take this on. It will at least be more intelligent than the circumstance.
