4th of July In The Rain

Well, the parade soldiered on even in the rain today in Middletown, VA. It was short and sweet though, as we had only about 50 units in the parade and the weather obviously kept the crowd small. We announced the parade from inside of the local Volunteer Fire Department and managed to have some fun along the way.

Wayside Theatre volunteers stopped by to help us sell soft drinks and water as well as raffle tickets and we’re grateful for their help.

I doubt there will be any local fireworks tonight as the forecast calls for rain, but hey, it was a fun day anyway. More pictures at this link on Flickr.
