Well this will make Steve Jobs happy. After just proclaiming that the iPhone was besting the Blackberry, comes word that members of Congress would like some iPhones. Congress has been wired up on Blackberries for quite some time now, and the folks who run the infrastructure are looking into what the deal would and could be. While individual Congress persons may have to pay for the phone out of their allowance, we still pay the freight as taxpayers all the way around. I’m guessing if RIM wasn’t a Canadian company they’d be setting up offices on K-Street right about now.
