NBC Pulls Boner: Names David Gregory as New Host for Meet The Press

Well, count me as one viewer NBC just lost for Meet The Press. Since Tim Russert’s untimely death speculation has been rampant about who would succeed him on Meet The Press. NBC could not have made a worse choice. They picked David Gregory to try and carry the torch and in my opinion, this shows the NBC brass just doesn’t have a clue. Gregory is one of the few talking heads I’ve seen that doesn’t even pretend he can listen to an answer an interviewee gives to one of his lame questions.

His agenda is always nakedly transparent and his style is far too puckish and self aggrandizing for my tastes.

What a sad situation to see such a long held tradition begin to fade away with such a bone head choice.
