That sound you hear might just be a bunch of folks planning to delay iPod purchases. Apparently Wolfson Electronics the makers of batteries for iPods is about to unveil a new battery that will potentially increase iPod battery life by 70%. Of course newer iPods will have more bells and whistles which will consume more juice so the amount of increase will be somewhat relative, but it sure argues for a wait and see game.
