IRONY INKLINGS AND HYPOCRISY ALERT
The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) has admitted to making unauthorized copying of the documentary, This Film Is Not Yet Rated.
The film itself explores the ratings process and the sometimes bizarre standards for assigning the cruical ratings. After This Film ... was sent in for a ratings review, the folks at the MPAA, feeling their feet a little too close to the fire, made copies and circulated them among their employees.
Lots of legalese and PR huffing and puffing ensues about the why's and wherefore's, but I find the irony quite delicious.
