Phatware, the maker of PhatNotes, PenOffice, and quite a few other apps for smartphones, Tablet PCs, and PDAs has released PhatPad 3.0 an update to their notes organizer software. I've never used PhatPad or PhatWare products before but I downloaded the free trial and gave it a shot. I have to say I'm not impressed with the inking experience on my Toshiba M200. I find it spotty and inconsistent. That said, I can see how it might be handy on a non-Tablet PC mobile device for taking notes.
