Sling Media, makers of the SlingBox, has announced support for the UMPC. A customized version of the SlingPlayer software will be available for the UMPCs, making it easy to view media from anywhere.
The customized SlingPlayer application leverages the touchscreen and resolution of Ultra-Mobile PC OS giving customers full control over their home television source, including the most popular cable boxes, satellite receivers, DVD players, and digital video recorders (DVRs)
