Bad news all around. Greed wins and anyone using the Internet loses. The House of Representatives definitively rejected Net Neutrality in a late (not as late in the evening as I thought) vote last night. This is bad news for everyone. Tiered Internet here we come. If you live in the DC area like I do I'm sure you've seen some of the ridiculous ads (maybe in your area too) that have sprung up from some of the lobbying companies that are filled with lies and obfuscation about the issue. Disgusting behavior.
I'd say we should all be shocked and outraged, and we probably should, but this is just business as usual for the money grubbers who call themselves our leaders. Far too many of us, (I'm guilty as well) don't get invovled enough to stop the crap like this that happens routinely.
