It sure looks like the Apple lawyers know how to make work for themselves. Now they are after a few companys that have the words "pod" or "podcast" in their name. Steve Rubel links to a Wired report that this isn't the first time the cease and desist order came out over this one. First Google doesn't want to be used as a verb. Now Apple wants to get greedy over a popular bit of cultural vernacular. Somebody give these lawyers some real work to do. Like dealing with exploding batteries or something.
I wonder what my buddy Kevin Tofel, who is credited with coining the term "podcatcher" thinks about this.
