Show Biz, (my stomping grounds.) is rich with stories of understudies waiting in the wings for that moment to hit the stage, and occaisionaly helping their journey along by pushing the lead down a flight of stairs or some other mishchief. Cue All About Eve with the musical Applause playing in the background.
But now we have the tale of a second string punter who stabbed the starter in the leg in order to get on the field. Yikes!
