Anti-Climax?

So they hung Saddam Hussein. I'm just asking, but doesn't this feel like a real anti-climax? Here in Chicago, Michael Jordan's divorce and James Brown's funeral got more play in the news. Guess that's what happens when you schedule big things for a holiday weekend.

Taking A Segway For A Ride

I had some great fun the other day. Skip Coghill, a GottaBeMobile.com Forum member, who lives in Chicago, got in touch when he heard about our trip. We managed to hook up for Chicago hot dogs and Italian beef, and to compare gadgets. But the most fun? Skip brought along one of his Segway's and gave me a lesson and let me give it a spin. Winter Wonderfest

More fun than anyone can really stand. The family took an excursion to Navy Pier and Winter Wonderfest. Best described as an indoor carnival of sorts with a winter/Christmas theme, it is a place to stand in line, mingle with thousands of strangers, and generally become exhausted as you watch parents with a look on their face that says, "why did I think this was a good idea?"

That makes it sound like a not fun time, which is not accurate. We had a blast watching the nephews enjoy the fun.  But talk about over stimulation.

 

Christmas with the Nephews

The grand Chicago tour continues as we had Chirstmas again with the family here in Chicago. Of course the stars of last night's party were the nephews, Matt and Joey.

Road Trip

Off for a little family fun with the annual pilgrimage to Chicago. As always it will be a whirlwind tour with a side trip to the lake house in Wisconsin and also some time in Vegas at CES.

Blogging will be light as the family fun begins.
