Remember the Sony rootkit fiasco? Sony BMG today settled with the FTC over that big bump in the road. The settlement requires Sony to make additional disclosures that will help consumers exchange infected CDs, and reimburse consumers for up to $150 to repair any damage to their computers. Score one for the good guys.
