As if traveling by air wasn't enough to make you want to pull your hair out, now comes word that British Airways (look for more to follow) want's to begin charging for that second bag you check. Yeah, yeah, I know this is one way they are looking at reducing costs for the ticket. Big deal. The way things are going now, the fare will be free, but they'll start charging you rent for the seat. Who thinks up this stuff?
And by the way, I'm with the guy who wrote this article on MSNBC. When they stop mishandling and losing bags, then maybe I'll think there is some merit to the idea.
