Call me old fashioned but there is nothing debate-like about presidential debates. Not only are the events scripted and rehearsed so that the candidates can avoid looking idiotic or even presidential, but the news media plays along.
Scratch the whole system. If any of these folk want my vote, prove to me you can stand up to a free-for-all. Otherwise quit playing charades.
