Some Sunday morning reading to share
Lots of talk about social networks, focusing on Facebook primarily, The topic vomited out by Jason Calacanis, is a simple one. How do you keep up with all these friend requests on these things? It ain't easy, and I certainly don't pretend to be dealing with the kind of numbers that Calacanis and Scoble are dealing with. When I first blogged about Facebook, I said it runs a risk of imploding in on itself. I still think that is true. Rex Hammock has also weighed in on this and says the problem is larger than the geek play currently going on.
According to The NY Times, Google is looking at adding a digital fingerprint of some sort to YouTube videos so that it will be easier to eliminate pirated content.
Fox News and Bill O'Reilly are fighting with the liberal blog scene big time. Looks like the liberal bloggers are trying to fight back where it hurts. They are looking to establish a network of folks who will call local advertisers and tell them they don't like O'Reilly. Don't know if it will work or not.
