Looks like if you're a Sprint/Nextel customer who wants to move away from the hive you will be able to have your phone unlocked. As part of a class action lawsuit settlement, Sprint will have to provide customers leaving the network with the code necessary for them to unlock their phones. As long as you're moving to another CDMA network and your equipment meets that carrier's specs, you can take it with you.
