As we get closer to the time of reentry, news keeps getting more and more interesting on that US spy satellite that is going to lose the battle with gravity and crash to Earth. Apparently there is a good chance pieces of it will hit the US or somewhere in North America.
You have to love this quote from the head of US Northern Command. On whether or not there might be a security issue if some of the technology falls into the wrong hands he said:
"It's really just a big thing falling on the ground that we want to make sure we're prepared for."
