Financial Bailout: And Now We Wait

While the proposed bailout plan still needs to pass both houses of Congress, assuming it does, we'll all be in wait and see mode for some time to come. It will take some time before we see any significant impact on what is certainly to be viewed as a major moment in history.

Already questions are being asked a little louder about how we got into this mess, and who should be held accountable and how. I say a little louder because while those voices were there, they were somewhat muted given the immediacy of trying to find a solution. I'm no expert, and don't pretend to be, but after reading what I can, (including the text of the bill itself), I'm not sure anyone can say with any assurances that this will work. Although many will try to say it will, and many will try to say it won't.

Thus we wait.
