Al Gore now has company. A McCain aide when asked what John McCain did while serving on the Senate Commerce Committee held up a Blackberry and said, “He did this.” Continuing he said that “You’re looking at the miracle that John McCain helped create.”
Of course the McCain campaign is already dismissing this as a “boneheaded joke by a staffer.”
We’ll have to see if it sticks or not. Remember Al Gore never said he helped invent the Internet, but that one stuck thanks to it being repeated by everyone who ever heard it.
