Check! Game over. But, what if your opponent cries out that you've used a copyrighted move, or series of moves, to achieve your victory. Sound far-fretched?
According to this article on TechDirt there is an ongoing debate over whether or not you can copyright a chess move. This just seems really ridiculous to me, but then in this day and age, I don't take anything this nonsensical for granted when it comes to copyrights, patents, greed, and stupidity.
