Some Sunday morning reading to share, hopefully not jejune.
Frank Rich looks at the political happenings in the wake of Obama’s speech, Jindal’s reply and the budget outline. Rich is unusually cogent in some of his analysis and anyone who column that describes Jindal as “smug and jejune” deserves to be read.
Nothing smug and jejune here. Francine Hardaway on RSS, Twitter, and Information Overload.
Daniel Gross in Newsweek looks at how to reign in bubbles. He’s talking bubbles in the economy, that inevitably burst. You’d have to get rid of humans to have any success. What he doesn’t say, and what no one can say is that trying to reign in or control a rising bubble is as impossible as trying to hold a soap bubble in your hand.

Lawrence Lessig on the Amazon/Author’s Guild/Text-To-Speech insanity. Some good info an context.
A Powerbook explodes in a London Office. Scary story.
Lots of comedy this week from the Conservative Political Action Conference this week. The conservative’s comedian-in-chief, Rush Limbaugh, had some good lines.
Jon Robin Baitz on what he’d do with the National Endowment for the Arts. A good start, to what I hope becomes a real discussion.
I never heard of the hard to detect disease called ciguatera fish poisoning but it sounds like something that I’d never like to experience.
