Two great reviews are out today for Wayside Theatre’s production of The Gin Game. One is from the Winchester Star, the other is from the Northern VA Daily. Both focus on the excellent work by the two actors, James Laster and Faith Potts, and deservedly so. They talk about how carefully and wonderfully etched the two characters they play are.
This is a tough play. Tough to produce and at times time to watch as it weaves from comedy to powerful drama and tosses out doses of powerful truth along the way. Both reviewers picked up on both the subtleties of the play and our production of it.
